What is this talk of the Ducks interest in Miller? They are paying Viktor Fasth $1 million to be as good as he has and Hiller has been decent at $4.5 million. That is less than Miller's salary. I have never heard that they were interested. If they were, we would have traded him to them probably. If you were Anaheim, would you rather pay $5.5 million for two goalies that are playing solid or a streaky $6.3 million goaltender? |

The Sabres agreed to pay part of Pommenvilles contract in the recent Trade with the Wild. No reason why they couldn't do that with another team, Anaheim or other, for the right return.

Actually excited for Buffalo fans. I think Larsson is going to be a hell of a player for the Sabres org. Hated to see him go, Hackett as well, but happy with Pominville. Wild welcomed Pommer with a 0 - 3 shut out loss! Felt kind of bad for him, he shows up right in the middle of a rough patch for the Wild. Cullen and Heatley both injured. Didn't look like it took him long to get comfortable with Mikko and Zach though. I'm sure he'll be much more acclimated to Yeo's system after a rare team practice tomorrow before they take on the suddenly rising Blue Jackets.
Good luck Buffalo fans! As a Wild fan I know what it's like to have a nice pool of prospects to start a promising rebuild! |
